I have a dictionary definition of normal. I don't think it is normal though.


- conforming with or constituting a norm or standard or level or type or social norm; not abnormal; "serve wine at normal room temperature"; "normal ...

- being approximately average or within certain limits in e.g. intelligence and development; "a perfectly normal child"; "of normal intelligence"; "the most normal person I've ever met"

-convention: something regarded as a normative example; "the convention of not naming the main character"; "violence is the rule not the exception"; "his formula for impressing visitors"


I personally think that the word 'normal' is a generic term people use to try to define that which they feel is comfortable or regular. If someone does something you are not comfortable with, like being loud/energetic/immature, you may think they are not normal. If someone eats broccoli ice cream you may think them not normal.

I agree with those definitions. And if you know me, I'm basically your average human dictionary so yeah..

My definition of normal: Cofroming to the standard set by the majority of society.

Simple. Not VERY consise. But simple.
